(06/09/2026) – New York State election officials are encouraging voters to return early mail and absentee ballots for the June 2026 Primary Election as soon as possible following recent changes to U.S. Postal Service (USPS) postmark procedures that may affect how mail is dated and processed.

National Poll Worker Recruitment Day was established in 2020 by the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) to raise awareness about the important work that poll workers do to ensure that elections run smoothly and securely, as well as to encourage more Americans to serve their communities in this role.
